Article 1 Personal data we process
Cybersharks processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide this data to us yourself.
Cybersharks does not retain personal data longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, unless legally required.
Article 2 Special and/or sensitive personal data we process
Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years, unless they have permission from parents or guardians. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore recommend that parents be involved in their children’s online activities to prevent data about children from being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data about a minor without such consent, please contact us at info@cybersharks.nl, and we will delete this information.
Article 3 For what purpose and on what legal basis we process personal data
Cybersharks processes your personal data for the following purposes:
- Communication and contact requests
- Service delivery
- Recruitment
- Security and operational monitoring
Cybersharks does not make automated decisions about matters that could have significant consequences for individuals. These are decisions made by computer programs or systems without human intervention.
Technical information such as IP addresses and server logs may be processed for security, operational monitoring and abuse prevention purposes.
Article 4 Sharing personal data with third parties
Cybersharks does not sell your data to third parties and only provides this data if necessary for the performance of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. With companies that process your data on our behalf, we conclude processing agreements to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. Cybersharks remains responsible for these processing activities.
Article 5 Viewing, adjusting or deleting data
You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your consent for data processing or object to the processing of your personal data by Cybersharks, and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we have about you in a computer file to you or another organization specified by you.
You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data or a request to withdraw your consent or object to the processing of your personal data to info@cybersharks.nl.
To ensure that the request for access was made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your identity document with the request. In this copy, please black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone), passport number and citizen service number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy.
We will respond to your request as quickly as possible, but within four weeks.

Article 6 Securing personal data
Cybersharks takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification.
If you have the impression that your data is not properly secured or there are indications of misuse, please contact us at info@cybersharks.nl.
Cybersharks has taken the following measures to secure your personal data:
- TLS (formerly SSL): We send your data via a secure internet connection. You can recognize this by the “https” address and the padlock icon in your browser.
- SPF: We use SPF email protection standards to help prevent spam, phishing and fraudulent emails sent in our name.
